Amethyst Performing Arts Management Announces
La Traviata, at the 2010 NCPA Opera Festival
Amethyst Performing Arts (APA) Management in cooperation with the NCPA,
has jointly organized a new NCPA version of Verdi's La Traviata at the
National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing for the
2010 NCPA Opera Festival. Conducted by world-famous conductor Maestro Lorin Maazel, the opera
features award-winning stage direction/lighting design by Henning Brockhaus, stage
design by Benito Leonori, costume design by Giancarlo Colis. Like
China itself, this production is a mix of traditional and modern
elements, as well as the blending of fantasy and reality.

Tan Dun 2009 Taiwan Concert TourAmethyst
Performing Arts (APA) Management has organized a three-city concert
tour in Taiwan, featuring famed Chinese composer and conductor Tan Dun,
whose critically acclaimed works have been featured in such films as
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Hero. Tan Dun will be premiering
his music for the first time in Taiwan. He will be joined by soloists
Richard Bamping, Haruka Fujii, Rika Fujii, and Yumi Fukushima. The tour
will feature performances in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.

New York Philharmonic ASIA 2008 Amethyst
Performing Arts (APA) Management has organized a five-city,
eleven-concert tour for the world's oldest and most prestigious
orchestra - the New York Philharmonic. Lead by Maestro Lorin Maazel,
the New York Philharmonic will start its Asia 2008 concert tour on
February 11 of 2008. The five-city, 11- concert tour will take the
orchestra to Asia for two weeks until February 24, 2008. The Orchestra
will give concerts in Taipei and Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Hong Kong; and
Beijing and Shanghai, People's Republic of China. The Hong Kong
concerts will open the
Hong Kong Arts Festival.
